Viral Video Gong Show:
So you think you can get 10,000 hits on Youtube? So your friends say your video is "the best thing ever"? But that's just fun and games in the anonymous world of the interwebs. Now it's time to put up or shut up.
Mobtelevision proudly presents the world's first Viral Video Gong Show. We will screen anything, long, short, funny, tragic, pranks, cuddly kittens, two girls and a . . . well, you get the idea. But there's a catch. The filmmaker must be on stage during his or her screening. There they will receive the praise or scorn of our audience and face a panel of celebrity judges armed with sharp tongues, a mallet and a large gong.
Videos that are not gonged will be judged on points, and the video with the highest points can and will claim an "EPIC WIN" but this time in real life.
FAWQ (Frequently Asked Written Questions):
1. Entries must be uploaded by November 13th to be considered.
2. We will accept any film, any length, any subject matter, any quality, made anywhere, made any time. The only catch is that the filmmaker must show up in person to be judged. Specifically any film that does not have its filmmaker present 30 minutes before the event will NOT screen.
3. You may submit multiple films. A separate entry is required for each submission.
4. We will accept one version of your entry only. We will NOT accept any "updated" versions.
5. There is no submission fee and each movie submitted gets one free ticket to the show.
